The city of San Francisco is famed around the world for its beauty, renowned landmarks and sparkling community. As one of the most densely populated cities in the whole of America, it undoubtedly gathers a varied and interesting variety of people – Some, it could be argued, even more so than others.

For there are people here unlike any others. People with extraordinary gifts, setting them outside normality for the entirety of their lives. Such blessings (Or are they, indeed, curses?) are the fabled things of fantastical stories involving superheroes and evil villains – Astonishing abilities that range from such amazing skills as human flight to telekinesis. For the most part, those of us who have no such powers go on, unaware and unknowing of the massive secret boiling up in the colourful community in the cool morning fog – But they’re here, and some of them are not so enthusiastic about keeping such talents a secret.
